This page outlines the terms and conditions for the sale of equipment, including payment, taxes, shipping, and returns. The sale includes equipment ONLY. No other parts or accessories are included unless otherwise mentioned.
Payment & Pricing
Prices are net prices, VAT 0%. Full advance payment unless separately agreed.
VAT (Tax) Information
In case you are:
- A private purchaser / consumer inside EU: Please note that VAT (tax) will be added to the total price. Tax rate (%) is determined by the destination country, same as given in the delivery address.
- A business buyer inside EU (except Finnish companies): Please provide us your valid VAT ID and the price stays the same (no VAT added).
- Outside EU: VAT is not applied.
- Finnish companies & private consumers: Tax (VAT 25.5%) will be added to the price.
Taxes
All customs duties, import fees, and applicable state and local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
If these fees fail to be paid by the customer and the shipment is returned to us, a €250 processing fee and all shipping costs (both to and from the buyer) will apply. These charges will be deducted from any refund, or billed directly if the refund does not cover the full amount.
Shipping & Handling
Delivery terms: Incoterms 2020 applies
Shipping carriers: We use Shipit, which provides access to FedEx, UPS, Posti, Schenker, and other carriers. Shipping options may vary depending on the destination country and city.
Packaging & Delivery
- All items are packaged with care to ensure full protection during shipping.
- Most items are shipped within 5 business days of cleared payment.
- To ensure smooth delivery and avoid any extra charges, please provide complete and accurate contact information and monitor your shipment so you can promptly handle any customs or delivery requirements.
Important Notes
If any transportation or customs related documents fail to be delivered and the shipment is returned to us, a €250 processing fee and all shipping costs (both to and from the buyer) will apply. These charges will be deducted from any refund or billed directly if the refund does not cover the full amount.
In case of a damaged shipping box: The damage has to be reported to the courier in pursuance of receiving the delivery. Additionally, pictures of the damaged box / goods should be taken immediately.
Return Policy
Please contact us if you find defects from the unit and we will agree to further actions.
Return Process
Contact us within 14 days after receiving the purchased unit if it should fail to work as we described. Please explain the failure in details with pictures included. According to our return policy you have the option to return the item and receive a replacement if possible, or get a refund.
Please note: The buyer is responsible for the return shipping & handling charges.
Limitations
- We do not offer refunds for products that are damaged due to mishandling by the buyer.
- Our return policy does not cover malfunctions resulting from normal wear and tear or improper use of the equipment.
- Our return policy limits liability to cover max total value of purchased unit.
- Return policy does not cover "AS-IS" sold units.
Warranty Information
- New Equipment: Full manufacturer warranty (typically 24 months)
- reNEWed® Equipment: 3-month warranty, professionally refurbished and tested
- Used Equipment: Warranty terms specified at time of sale
Liability
Oy East Trade Promotion Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the equipment, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
The maximum liability of Oy East Trade Promotion Ltd shall not exceed the purchase price of the equipment in question.
End User Statement
Certain products require an End User Statement before shipment.
Due to export control regulations, some test and measurement equipment may be subject to dual-use export restrictions. For these products, we are required to obtain an End User Statement from the buyer before we can process and ship the order.
The End User Statement must include:
- Complete company information (name, address, VAT/Tax ID)
- End user details and intended use of the equipment
- Confirmation that the equipment will not be re-exported without proper authorization
- Acknowledgment of compliance with applicable export control laws
We will inform you during the purchase process if your selected product requires an End User Statement. Shipment will be delayed until we receive the completed and signed statement.
